my roots are in the riverbank

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit.
.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT)

This reminds me of another beautiful tree that has your fingerprints all over it :)

Very cool verse, I keep reading it over and over again trying to grasp what that looks like....I feel like sometimes my roots are right by the riverbank and other times its like I don't have any roots like a christmas tree, i look ok for a season but eventually grow really dry, it takes a lot of work to stay rooted in the bank! I miss you friend!
